Haraldsen’s Garage is a local, family-owned organization with one simple goal in mind when it comes to the repair of your vehicle, to get it right the first time, every time; and on top of that, ensure that you, the customer is happy throughout the process. Since 1952, the Haraldsen’s and their team have been helping people in the community with a friendly atmosphere and down to earth attitude. The story started at the Westmont, Illinois location over half a century ago as an International truck dealership, and eventually transitioned into the maintenance facility it is today; while the building and personality seem old-fashioned, the technology used today to fix your vehicle is cutting-edge, incorporating networked databases of information on every vehicle and component manufactured since the dawn of the industry, computer-aided diagnostics and logic, and most importantly the irreplaceable asset of experience; the team today shares a wealth of over 200 years of cumulative knowledge and expertise.
In 2005, Haraldsen’s Garage expanded into its second location conveniently located in Darien, Illinois, this location shares in the Haraldsen’s ideal of old world service and hospitality with new world technology and efficiency, and adds a crucial part to the Haraldsen’s experience, a full service collision and restoration body shop. This facility utilizes computer databases and diagnostics logic. In addition, Haraldsen’s Garage utilizes a computer controlled paint color matching technology, precision frame straightening equipment, and laser assisted alignment systems, and high tech spray booth systems, along with some of the most experienced personnel in the Chicago-land area.
On April 14, 2023 Haraldsen’s Garage consolidated operations into our Darien, Illinois location. We would like to express out heartfelt thanks to Westmont as it has been an honor to have been trusted by you for your automotive needs since 1952. We still offer all of our customers local shuttle service to home or work.
